This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Website Terms of Use, Mobile App Terms of Use, and Acceptable Use Policy. By continuing to use the Platform, you consent to our use of Cookies and Similar Technologies in accordance with this Policy.

In this Policy, you and your refers to you as a visitor to the Website or user of the Platform.

1. ABOUT THIS POLICY

1. This Policy explains what Cookies and Similar Technologies are, the categories of Cookies we use on the Platform, the information we collect through those Cookies, and how that information is used. It also sets out how you can manage your Cookie preferences.

We use Cookies and Similar Technologies to operate the Website, authenticate your account, remember your preferences, analyse usage of the Platform, personalise your experience (including content curated for you by Lumen-affiliated influencers), and, where applicable, deliver and measure marketing communications.
3. We may update this Policy from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Policy on the Website. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically to stay informed about how we use Cookies.

2. WHAT ARE COOKIES

1. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website or use an app that connects to the internet. Cookies allow the website or app to recognise your device and remember information about your visit or session.
2. Cookies may be set by us directly (first party Cookies) or by third parties whose services we use on the Platform (third party Cookies), including analytics providers, payment processors, and advertising partners.

   1. Session Cookies, which are temporary and are deleted from your device when you close your web browser or exit the Lumen mobile application; and

4. We also use Similar Technologies (including SDKs embedded in the Lumen mobile application and pixels on the Website) that collect information in broadly the same way as Cookies. References to Cookies in this Policy include those Similar Technologies.

1. We use the following categories of Cookies on the Platform:
   1. Strictly necessary Cookies are essential for the Platform to function. They enable core features such as logging into your Lumen account, maintaining your subscription session, loading and saving your vision boards, and processing secure payments. The Platform cannot operate correctly without these Cookies and they cannot be disabled through our Cookie preferences.
   2. Performance and analytics Cookies collect information about how you use the Platform, including which pages and features you visit most often, how long you spend on each, and whether you encounter any errors. The information collected is aggregated and helps us improve the Platform, refine the AI-assisted manifestation and vision board features, and understand the performance of influencer-affiliated content.
   3. Functionality Cookies allow the Platform to remember choices you make (such as your preferred influencer affiliations, manifestation prompts, language settings, and vision board layouts) and provide enhanced, personalised features.
   4. Targeting and advertising Cookies are used to deliver advertisements that may be relevant to you, to limit the number of times you see an advertisement, and to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns (including campaigns co-delivered with Lumen-affiliated influencers). They are usually placed by advertising and social media networks with our permission and may be shared with those networks.
2. The specific Cookies we use within each category, their providers, and their durations change from time to time. Current details (including how to opt out of non-essential Cookies) are available through the Cookie preferences tool on the Website and, where applicable, within the Lumen mobile application.

5. Please be aware that if you disable or delete Cookies, some features of the Platform may not function correctly, including logging in, saving vision boards, and accessing your subscription.

6. CHANGES, FORCE MAJEURE AND GENERAL

1. We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the AI-assisted features on the Platform, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. The updated Policy will be effective when posted on the Website.
2. We are not liable for any failure or delay in making the Website or the Lumen mobile application available, or for any failure to comply with this Policy, to the extent caused by a Force Majeure Event (as defined below), provided that we use reasonable endeavours to minimise the impact and resume normal service as soon as practicable.
3. Force Majeure Event means any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, flood, earthquake, storm, cyclone or other natural disaster, epidemic, pandemic or public health emergency, war, invasion, acts of terrorism, riot or civil unrest, government action, law, regulation, order or embargo, failure of third party infrastructure (including telecommunications, power networks, or cloud computing services), and cyberattacks, distributed denial of service attacks, or other malicious interference with digital infrastructure.
4. This Policy is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and any courts entitled to hear appeals from those courts.
5. If any provision of this Policy is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
